Shopfront And Office Window Branding: Pretoria

CONTRA-VISION (ONE -WAY VISION)

This is the same perforated vinyl used for the branding of rear windows of vehicles. Contra-vision cannot be laminated as the “one-way vision” effect will be removed by the lamination process. The perforation in the vinyl allows the ink to infiltrate the vinyl sufficiently and therefore lamination is not needed to protect the ink. If the vinyl is exposed to water and washing on an on-going basis the ink will start to fade over time. When you have contra-vision applied to your vehicle’s rear window it is advisable not to use the rear window wiper at all. Because of the Contra-vision’s low surface coverage, it usually has a 3-4-year lifecycle.

SANDBLAST /FROSTED VINYL

We offer application of solid (printed or unprinted) sandblast vinyl – this is usually more cost effective than the alternative where we cut out lettering/graphics and you can choose between a positive or negative version of your design.

PRINTING ON SOLID WHITE MONOMERIC VINYL LAMINATED WITH TRANSPARENT/CLEAR VINYL

PRINTING ON CLEAR VINYL

Although we print a double pass (layer) of ink on clear vinyl, the colours are not as crisp as in the case with white vinyl, however in cases of roughly 80% ink coverage on clear vinyl, this has an interesting & desirable effect. An advantage of clear vinyl is that when we print it in reverse and apply it on the inside of glass panels/windows, the window/panel itself serves as lamination and no extra lamination is required.

PRE-PIGMENTED POLYMERIC VINYL

We have approximately 150 standard pre-pigmented coloured vinyl to choose from. In the case where simple text or logos are branded in standard/spot colours, this vinyl is the best option to use since it is more UV resistant than printing & laminating vinyl. Pre-Pigmented vinyl is available in a various quality grade. The most common to use is Polymeric with an approximate 5-year lifespan. Polymeric will last just as long as the next more expensive option, cast vinyl, when it is applied to a flat surface.

BRUSHED SILVER/GOLD VINYL, METALLIC COLOURS AND REFLECTIVE VINYL

This vinyl is most often used when branding vehicles and office/shopfront doors.

Clients who prefer this vinyl, usually requests cut-out lettering. This type of vinyl is fairly durable & you can expect to pay around R 200 more per square meter than you would normally pay for cut-out vinyl.

INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR QUOTATIONS ON WINDOW BRANDING

  1. Clear images of the windows to be branded
  2. Measurements of the area to be branded
  3. The Physical address where the branding is to be applied

Should you not be able to send us images & sizes that we require:

Unfortunately, we do not have sales reps available to do measurements of windows – after many years we have realised this is not an effective practice as a photo & short description is usually enough for us to use and calculate a quote accordingly.

If we are still unsure or cannot assist with your requirements after receiving this information, we will either refer you to one of our agents or in extreme cases we will request our site manager to assist with the measurements.

We will charge a basic call out fee of R600 (excl. VAT), after which R400 will be credited to your account should you decide to place the order with us.

ARTWORK AND DESIGN LAYOUT

No artwork or design layout is included in your quote, except when otherwise specified.

To be able to quote on design/layout we will need a short description from describing what you require for your design and in which format the images/logos will be supplied to us (if any at all).

We always prefer vector format – editable line art.  Depending on the info supplied, we will charge you approximately between R200 and R500 for the design. We charge R450 per hour.

Depending on the complexity of your design, and therefore the amount of time our designers will spend on re-drawing your artwork to get it to print-ready format, you can expect to pay between R 150.00 – R 150.00 (Excl. VAT) for the re-design.

OTHER PROCEDURES

Once payment of at least 50% deposit (or the full amount on orders below R1 000) is received and artwork is approved (signed off either via mail or in person) we will inform you of our available dates for installation/application. This should be 4-5 days after approval, depending on availability.
