ABS is a type of plastic sheeting used for signage and it can be used to be a more durable replacement for Corri/Correx boards, or be a less durable and cheaper replacement for Chromadek boards.
ABS comes in a variety of thicknesses that can be cut to specification. We cannot laser cut these plastic sheets due to the fact that ABS releases poisonous gasses which can be harmful. However, we can cut ABS with a CNC cutter.
The following thicknesses are available
- 0.9mm (white, yellow)
- 1mm (white, black, yellow)
- 2mm (white, black)
- 3mm (white, black)
- 3mm (white, black)
- 5mm (white)
- 5mm (white)
ABS can be used for digitally printing or screen-printing. For general signage, digital printing is recommended, for intricate and large volume signs/products, screen printing is recommended, although, in the case of Screen printing, we are limited to size A1/800 x 600mm
