Flex face signs are banners, tensioned over a square tubing frame and is an estimated 20% more cost effective than signage with Chromadek (steel) faces.
Apart from the material used for the face printing, the specifications for Chromadek and flex face are the same. In the case where an outdoor sign has a surface exceeding 8m² (the equivalent of 4 x 2m) we usually recommend flex face signs as an alternative to a Chromadek face.
Flex face signs are lighter and involve less strain on the frame and the posts. It is significantly more cost effective to manufacture and replace Flex face signs and it is generally a tidier sign with minimal pop rivets placed at 3m intervals and the join-line is less noticeable.
In the case where you require the replacement of a flex face billboard sign, we simply remove the old print and replace it with a new print onto your existing frame.
Flex face billboards are used for temporary advertising needs as they start fading from 12-18 months. This characteristic gives the opportunity to rotate billboards on a more regular basis as needed. Please keep in mind that PVC flex face signs can only be laminated with liquid vinyl.

- The physical address where sign will be erected
- Photographs indicating the exact installation position with ground level to be included in your photo
- The graphic design and layout of your billboard can also be done by our in-house team of designers – please indicate when requesting your quote
Once artwork proof is signed off and payment received, we will confirm an available date for the installation of your signs.
Replacement of your existing billboard sign:
Instead of re-erecting your sign, Redblock also offers a service to re-do or replace your signage face to assist you in saving on expenses. In the case where you require the replacement of a flex face billboard sign, we simply remove the old print and replace it with a new print onto the existing frame.
