Custom Corporate Photo Display with 90 Perspex Blocks
A large corporate display may look simple once it is installed, but a clean result depends on the structure, spacing and preparation behind it. Redblock Branding Solutions manufactured, assembled and installed a custom corporate photo display built around an ACM backing board, a square-tubing support frame, 90 Perspex photo blocks and 360 standoffs.
The photo blocks were arranged in six rows of 15 to form one coordinated wall feature. Because the project includes employee portraits, this project story focuses on Redblock’s manufacturing and installation work without identifying the client or its employees.
A Custom Display Built Around a Clear Layout
The project required 90 separate Perspex blocks to read as one display rather than a collection of individual pieces. The position of every block therefore had to follow a consistent grid across the full width and height of the backing board.
The ACM board provided the main display surface, while the square-tubing frame supported the structure. The 360 standoffs created four mounting points for every Perspex block. Together, these components formed the foundation for an orderly six-by-15 layout.
Preparing the Perspex Blocks in the Redblock Factory
The Redblock team completed the preparation and assembly work in the factory before the final installation. The production photographs show the Perspex blocks organised in batches and checked against the layout used during assembly.
Working through 90 individual components requires careful handling and a repeatable process. Each block needed to correspond with the prepared mounting points so that the full display would remain balanced when fitted to the board.
Consistent Spacing Across 360 Standoffs
The standoff layout was one of the most important parts of the project. With four mounting points per block and 90 blocks in total, even small differences in positioning could affect the appearance of the wider grid.
The team worked from the overall layout rather than treating each block as an isolated item. This helped maintain the relationship between rows, columns and the outer edges of the display.
From Factory Assembly to On-Site Installation
Once the ACM backing and frame were ready, the structure was installed in its final position. The privacy-safe installation images show the completed backing board and the full standoff grid.
This stage demonstrates the amount of preparation behind the finished feature. The board, support frame and mounting points had to work together before the individual Perspex blocks could complete the visual layout.
